Fascinated by robotics, Étienne did his bachelor’s in Robotics Engineering and is continuing as a master’s student at the Université de Sherbrooke. His main interest is making multi-robot systems and swarm robotics closer to being implemented in real life.  More specifically, his research mainly focuses on multi-robot decision-making in the context of exploration and mapping where the communication between robots can be lost. Other than multi-robot systems, he also has interests in electronics, control and state estimation.
